Clay Receives Everfi Empowered District Seal for 2024

Published May 2024

In 2020, Everfi created this award to recognize districts like Clay that consistently demonstrate a commitment to whole-child education.

Only 10% of the nation's school districts earned the Empowered District Seal this year. (See other awardees in Ohio)  The EVERFI Empowered Seal is a designation awarded to K-12 school districts that have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to whole-child education through the use of EVERFI’s comprehensive, evidence-informed digital programs in areas such as financial literacy, social-emotional learning, college & career readiness, STEM, and health & wellness.

Districts that have earned the Empowered Seal are eligible to apply for EVERFI's Empowered Seal Grant. Six districts will receive a $1,000 grant for their district's foundation or local non-profit partner.  Clay received the Empowered District Seal in 2021, 2022, & 2023.
